Creative Players, our beginners drop off class, is perfect for little ones showing an interest in interacting with peers, and seeking out activities such as art, story times, and constructive play with blocks and other manipulatives. This theme based class focuses on first time separations, classroom skills, and positive social interactions. Creative Players class is designed to ease the transition from first time separation to classroom readiness. Your Creative Player will enjoy guided play, circle time, art, music, snack, and lunch while practicing important skills such as sharing, taking turns, and following instructions. This class combines the joys of playing with the joys of learning to nurture your child's academic and social growth.

First time students start their time at one hour and work their way up to the full class time as they adjust to the drop off program. A minimum of one session in this class must be completed before registering for Little Learners (Our preschool prep class for 2.5-3.5 year olds).

• Increasing vocabulary & speech

This drop-off class is the perfect class for children showing an interest in letters, print, and reading. This early reading skills class explores letter recognition, phonics, and word building through fun games with peers. With a cap at only 6 students, Early Readers combines the focus of a tutoring session with the fun of learning with friends. Children will progress at their own pace, while benefiting from exposure and practice with the building blocks of reading. Class is complete with a drawing activity to create a fun picture while working on fine motor skills.

CLASS GOALS: Letter Recognition – Phonics – Word Building - Fine Motor Control

• Recognition of all 26 letters of the alphabet
• Recognition of uppercase letters
• Recognition of lowercase letters
• Recognition of letters in different fonts

This after school care program is provided for the preschool students, ages 3-5 years, from Jahn Elementary school. Days of care follow the 2018-2019 CPS Calendar days. Care is provided from 3 - 6 pm. Children will be picked up from the Jahn auditorium at 3 pm and walked a half block to Wonderland.

After school care includes open play, center activities, games, gross motor, and art. A grain and fresh fruit will be provided for snack.

Children will remove their shoes before entering the classroom, so please send them to school wearing socks or with clean socks in their back pack.

Be sure to include in registration any parents or caregivers who may be picking them up. Children will only be released to adults on their list.

Payments are due by the 15th of every month, one month ahead. (Pay August 15th for September care)
Payments can be made by personal or scheduled bank check. Complete payment details will be included in your invoice following enrollment.
